What is the Languages?

      Language is a human system of communication that ussualy uses voice sounds, gestures, and/or written symbols. The scientific study of language is called linguistics.. But Linguists is the specialists in the study of the language. There are so many definition about the language.  Here a few of those definitions which according to expert.

     "From now on I will consider a language to be a set (finite or infinite) of sentences, each finite in length and constructed out of a finite set of elements." (Noam Chomsky, Syntactic Structures, 1957)

    So, Language is a human communication tool. Although there are various languages in the world. It also uses sound and symbol which has a meaning. The language is not only in form of a sound/voice, but can be in form of body language, gestures, and etc. Without language, the human in the world couldn't communicate with the others. Therefore, there are the scientific study of language which called linguistics and the specialists in the study of the language is called Linguists.
